technique
Developing and perfecting controlled movements, quick, smooth strides, and proper technique translates to a more powerful skater and ultimately a better player overall. Effective edge work enables players to make quick turns, tight cuts, and intricate movements, giving them an edge in evading opponents, creating scoring opportunities, and defending against attacks.

Coach christine mcguern

My passion and goal is to teach hockey players the correct way to skate. From building a strong skating foundation, to focusing on the positioning and body control critical to the power and speed of today's game, I have created a successful business and reputation through my results. My ability to break down complex skills into simple, easy-to-understand steps, makes it easy for skaters of all ages and skill levels to grasp and apply my teachings. Because of my dedication and focus to each individual player's development, my students have been successful in achieving their goals of advancing to AAA, Prep School, Junior and NCAA Hockey. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!
